Stimulated by the project's stunning architecture and the site, the facade lighting scheme that Lightbox proposed had conceptual origins in the swaying movement of dandelions. The LED strips lights located at balcony edges are programmed to mirror the motion of the wind on any given night. Starring from the bottom, the LED lights are switched on all the way to the crown. The rhythm can be gradual or immediate, taking cues from the pattern of the wind at any given time. Fiber optics were installed at the crown to create a visual scattering of precise light points that recall the dispersion of dandelion seeds. This visual spectacle creates a pleasing and relaxing facade for both building users and strollers along the bay.
